That the Federation lobby the British Columbia Ministry of Education to unify the applications to the TRB and TQS into one application.

Resolution117.  (Support)

That the BCTF lobby the Ministry of Justice to waive the fingerprinting fee for public school teachers who are required to undergo mandatory rechecks every five years as a requirement of the Criminal Record Review Program.

This is personal.  I am subjected to paying $75 every 5 years because there is another male with the same birthdate (day and month) that has been charged or received a pardon.  The majority of criminal records are held by males so this stipulation is going to impact men in teaching more than women.  This is also a charge EVERY 5 years until that other person dies.
